Before Pandora and Spotify, there was WBGO 88.3fm, a jazz radio station in New York City. The music evoked movement, and that in turn brought color to cityscapes that started appearing in my drawings and designs for tapestries.

It started back in 1984 on my trip to Greece. Mykonos impressed me with its Mediterranean blue light, simple hospitality, and casual and whimsical architecture. I could not take it home, but I could recreate some of it in a tapestry.
